Major Breaks Loose, Mauga Dominates, Dalmas and Kapp Share Week Ten Honors

Marcus Major led a record-setting rushing attack, Kana’i Mauga anchored Orlando’s defense, and Jonah Dalmas and Jerome Kapp delivered game-changing special teams plays to earn UFL Week Ten Player of the Week honors.

ARLINGTON, TX – June 2, 2026 – In the final week of the UFL regular season, Marcus Major ran wild, Kana’i Mauga was a defensive nightmare, and Jonah Dalmas and Jerome Kapp starred on special teams.

Offensive Player of the Week presented by Progressive: Marcus Major, Houston Gamblers, RB

In Houston’s final game of the season, Marcus Major helped lead one of the greatest rushing performances in UFL history.

Major rushed for 80 yards and punched in two touchdowns. He also broke off the longest run of the UFL season in the third quarter, racing 72 yards en route to an upset victory over Birmingham.

As a team, Houston rushed for 278 yards, setting a new UFL single-game record.

NOBULL Defensive Player of the Week: Kana’i Mauga, Orlando Storm, LB 

Mauga earned his first UFL weekly honor after leading the game in tackles in Orlando’s victory over DC.

He recorded nine total tackles, including seven solo stops, a tackle for loss, and showcased his ability in coverage with two passes defended. Mauga was all over the field during Orlando’s fourth consecutive victory, helping the Storm secure the No. 1 seed in the UFL playoffs.

The impact on special teams in the final week was so significant that recognizing just one player simply wasn't enough. Both Jonah Dalmas and Jerome Kapp earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

In just his third game of the season, Dalmas delivered a standout performance in Week Ten. He went 4-for-5 on field goals and a perfect 2-for-2 on extra points.

His biggest moment came early when he connected on the longest field goal of the season. Dalmas drilled a 61-yard field goal, recording the first four-point field goal in Columbus history. He became just the third kicker in UFL history to accomplish the feat.

Kapp also made a massive impact on special teams for Orlando. In addition to recording a special teams tackle, he blocked a DC punt in the end zone that resulted in a safety. His play helped propel Orlando to its league-best eighth victory of the season.
