ARLINGTON, TX – January 12, 2026 – Ahead of the 2026 UFL Draft, the league officially announced each team’s quarterback room and regional allocated players on Monday. Teams selected between two and three quarterbacks, while also receiving three allocated players through the league’s allocation process.

Birmingham Stallions

The Stallions enter the 2026 season with a two-quarterback room featuring Matt Corral, Taylor Elgersma, and Jaren Hall. Corral returns for his third season with Birmingham, providing continuity at the position.

Corral made two starts last season and will compete for the starting role in 2026. Elgersma and Hall both have zero prior years of spring football experience.

Birmingham was allocated Kobe Jones, Mason Brooks, and Desmond Little. Jones, a middle linebacker, started all 10 games for the San Antonio Brahmas last season. Brooks, an offensive tackle, made nine starts for DC, while Little, a defensive end from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, enters the roster as a free agent.

Columbus Aviators

In their inaugural season, the Aviators announced a three-quarterback room featuring Jalen Morton, Jalan McClendon, and Clayton Tune. Morton and McClendon bring a combined six years of spring football experience.

Morton previously appeared for the Birmingham Stallions in 2023 and returns to the UFL in 2026. McClendon has four years of spring football experience, most recently with the Houston Roughnecks. Tune, a former fifth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, joins Columbus after time in the NFL and will make his spring football debut.

Columbus was allocated Alize Mack, Juwann Bushell-Beatty, and Jailin Walker. Mack, a tight end from Notre Dame, has made 29 career spring football starts with San Antonio since 2023. Bushell-Beatty, an offensive tackle from Michigan, brings three years of experience with the St. Louis Battlehawks. Walker, a linebacker from Indiana, enters as a free agent and adds depth to the defense.

Dallas Renegades

The Dallas Renegades will carry a two-quarterback group featuring Luis Perez and Austin Reed. Perez remains with Dallas as he enters his sixth season in spring football.

Perez led the UFL in passing yards and touchdowns during both the 2024 and 2025 seasons and returns as the most experienced quarterback in the league. Reed, a quarterback from Western Kentucky University, joins the Renegades with no prior spring football experience, bringing a productive collegiate resume to the depth chart.

Dallas was allocated Sam Tecklenburg, Keondre Coburn, and Siaki Ika. Tecklenburg, an offensive lineman with NFL and UFL experience, adds stability up front. Coburn, a defensive tackle, and Ika, a nose tackle from Baylor, both bring prior NFL experience and bolster the interior of the defensive line.

DC Defenders

The defending UFL champions will return their full quarterback group from the 2025 season. The Defenders’ quarterback room consists of Jordan Ta’amu, Mike DiLiello, and Spencer Sanders, combining for 11 years of spring football experience.

Ta’amu capped the 2025 season with a 390-yard, five-touchdown performance in the UFL Championship Game and has accumulated nearly 9,000 career spring football passing yards. DiLiello and Sanders return to provide continuity as Head Coach Shannon Harris brings back his championship quarterback room.

DC was allocated Gottlieb Ayedze, Johari Branch, and Brandon Smith. Ayedze and Branch, both offensive linemen, add depth along the front, with Branch returning after appearing in 10 games last season. Smith, a linebacker from Penn State, joins the roster to reinforce the defense.

Houston Gamblers

Houston will carry a two-quarterback room featuring Hunter Dekkers and Donovan Smith, all of whom enter the season with no prior spring football experience.

Each quarterback brings an extensive collegiate background as they begin their first professional spring campaign under Head Coach Kevin Sumlin.

The Gamblers added veteran support on offense with the allocation of Jontre Kirklin, a wide receiver who spent the previous two spring seasons with San Antonio and also played for Houston during the XFL’s 2023 season. Defensively, Houston added Anthony Hines III, a linebacker from DC, and Rashard Lawrence, a defensive end from San Antonio.

Louisville Kings

The Kings will enter the 2026 season with a two-quarterback room consisting of Jason Bean and Chandler Rogers. Neither quarterback has prior spring football experience, though both bring accomplished collegiate careers.

Rogers played for five college programs during his career, while Bean starred at Kansas and finished second in school history with 38 career passing touchdowns.

Louisville was allocated wide receiver JaVonta Payton and offensive lineman Willie Tyler. Payton spent the past two and a half spring seasons with the Arlington Renegades and enters his fourth year in the UFL. Tyler started all 10 games last season for San Antonio. Defensively, the Kings added Daniel Grzesiak, a defensive end from the University of Cincinnati.

Orlando Storm

Orlando will open the season with a quarterback room featuring Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Jack Plummer, none of whom have prior spring football experience.

Thompson-Robinson, a fifth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, made five NFL starts and is UCLA’s all-time leader in total offense. Plummer ranks sixth in single-season passing yards at the University of California (3,095).

Orlando was allocated offensive linemen Cole Schneider and Samuel Jackson, both of whom played collegiately at the University of Central Florida and have prior UFL experience. The Storm also added wide receiver Elijah Badger, who recorded 14 receiving touchdowns during his collegiate career at Arizona and Florida.

St. Louis Battlehawks

With a new head coach in place, the Battlehawks will once again carry Brandon Silvers in their quarterback group, joined by Michael Pratt and Ben Wooldridge.

Silvers has spent the past two spring seasons with St. Louis and will compete for the starting role in 2026. Pratt, Tulane’s all-time leader in passing touchdowns (90) and total touchdowns (118), joins the roster following a decorated collegiate career. Wooldridge, the 2024 Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year, adds another option to the quarterback competition.

St. Louis was allocated wide receivers Hakeem Butler and Kevon Latulas, both of whom return to the Battlehawks. Butler caught four touchdowns in seven games last season and has totaled 17 touchdowns across his three-year tenure with the franchise. Latulas appeared in four games last season as a running back. Defensively, the Battlehawks added free safety Michael Ojemudia, who appeared in nine games for D.C. last season.
