  • Appeared in eight games as the teams backup where he completed six-of-seven passes for 48 yards and one touchdown while also adding 20 carries for 73 yards.

 

Prior to the Renegades

  • Selected by the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL in the 2023 Rookie draft where he signed with the team on Oct. 24, 2023. When the XFL and USFL merged, Scott was drafted by the Arlington Renegades in the 2024 UFL dispersal draft.
  • Selected by the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL in the 2023 USFL draft after going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft. Served as an offensive assistant working with quarterbacks for Texas State during the 2023 season.
  • Transferred to University of Incarnate word for seventh collegiate season where he started in 14 games completing 322-of-454 passes for 4,686 yards and 60 touchdowns with eight interceptions.
  • Spent one season with Missouri where he mainly served as a scout team quarterback before sustaining an injury that led to a medical redshirt then transferred to Nicholls where he spent two seasons with the team. Passed for for 1,684 yards and 18 touchdowns while also rushing for 557 yards and six touchdowns as a junior and passed for 2,083 yards and 16 touchdowns while also adding 990 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.
  • Began college career at LSU and redshirted as true freshman before transferring to East Mississippi Community College where he passed for 3,81 yards and 29 touchdowns with 11 interceptions while also rushing for 729 yards and six touchdowns as the Lions won the NJCAA National Championship.
  • Holds FCS record for most passing touchdowns in a season with 60 in 2022.
  • Hired by Texas Tech as an assistant quarterbacks coach on Jan. 13, 2025 for the 2025 season.
  • Father, Lindsey Scott Sr., played football at Southern University and in the CFL.
