  • Former NFL quarterback and seasoned professional known for his durability, leadership, and consistent production at every level of play. 
  • Drafted in the 3rd round (75th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens out of the University of Louisville.

  • Left Louisville as the all-time leader in passing completions (1,031) and passing attempts (1,679). 
  • Threw 84 career touchdown passes and was a dominant offensive leader for the Cardinals.
  • Awarded the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award as the nation’s top senior quarterback in 1999. 
  • Inducted into the Louisville Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014.

NFL Career:

  • Served primarily as a backup quarterback early in his career before earning starts, including notable performances in 2002 and 2003 with Baltimore. 
  • Spent five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, where he started multiple games and delivered clutch performances, including a late comeback win in 2009. 
  • Finished NFL career with 3,179 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, 14 interceptions. 

Coaching & Football Leadership:

  • After his playing career, transitioned into coaching and player development roles.
  • Coached and mentored youth football players in Louisville at Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL). 

Personal Life:

  • Born July 7, 1977, in Louisville, Kentucky. 
  • Played high school football at Louisville Male High School, where he set national touchdown records. 
  • Remains a respected figure in Louisville and collegiate football circles as one of the program’s all-time great quarterbacks.
