Prior to the Stallions
- An exceptional running back from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, running for 1,147 yards on 201 carries with 21 touchdowns his senior season before committing to the University of Missouri for his college football career.
- During his tenure at Missouri, Rountree made significant contributions to the team, setting the school record for career rushing yards (3,720) by a running back.
- Selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
- Made his mark in the NFL by scoring his first career touchdown with the Chargers during the 2021 season.
- After stints with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Houston Texans, Rountree joined the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League (UFL) in 2024.
