LOUISVILLE, KY (August 3, 2026) – Louisville Kings DT Travis Bell (6’0”, 310, Kennesaw State) has signed with the NFL's Cleveland Browns, the team announced today. He becomes the seventh member of the 2026 United Bowl Champion Louisville Kings to earn an NFL contract since the UFL season ended, joining Special Teams Player of the Year K Tanner Brown (New Orleans Saints), United Bowl MVP RB Ian Wheeler (Buffalo Bills), Defensive Player of the Year DE Cam Gill (Carolina Panthers), and wide receivers Lucky Jackson (Detroit Lions), Tarik Black (Detroit Lions), and Kaden Prather (Green Bay).
This season with the Louisville Kings, Bell started in all 10 regular season games, recording 32 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He also saw action in both postseason contests, totaling six tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack, helping the Kings capture the 2026 United Bowl title.
Bell was selected by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round (218th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, becoming the first player in Kennesaw State history to be selected in the NFL Draft. He participated in training camp with the Bears before being waived during final roster cuts and signing with the team's practice squad. After a stint with the Cleveland Browns practice squad, Bell was signed by the Atlanta Falcons in November 2023 before being waived the following month. He was then claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he finished the 2023 season.
After returning to the Cleveland Browns for 2024 training camp, Bell spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, and Minnesota Vikings organizations before entering the UFL, where he was selected by the Louisville Kings in the 2026 UFL Draft.
The Louisville Kings retain Bell’s UFL rights should he return to the United Football League.
