LOUISVILLE, KY (July 31, 2026) – Louisville Kings WR Kaden Prather (6’3”, 209, Maryland) has signed with the NFL's Green Bay Packers, the team announced today. He becomes the sixth member of the 2026 United Bowl Champion Louisville Kings to earn an NFL contract since the UFL season ended, joining Special Teams Player of the Year K Tanner Brown (New Orleans Saints), United Bowl MVP RB Ian Wheeler (Buffalo Bills), Defensive Player of the Year DE Cam Gill (Carolina Panthers), and fellow Wide Receivers Lucky Jackson (Detroit Lions) and Tarik Black (Detroit Lions).
This season with the Louisville Kings, Prather started in three of the nine regular-season games he appeared, totaling nine receptions for 148 yards while also adding three tackles on special teams. He also saw action in both postseason contests helping the Kings capture the 2026 United Bowl title.
Prather began his collegiate career at West Virginia (2021-22), appearing in 23 games where he tallied 64 receptions for 676 yards and three touchdowns. He then transferred to Maryland (2023-24) where he emerged as one of the Terrapins top receiving threats, recording 98 receptions for 1,290 yards and nine touchdowns across 25 games.
Prather was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. After participating in training camp, he suffered a late preseason injury that landed him on the Reserve/Injured list before he was waived during final roster cuts. Prather joined the Kings through the 2026 UFL Draft.
The Louisville Kings retain Prather’s UFL rights should he return to the United Football League.
